A group of eminent,educated socially sensitive woman who were harbingers of social change and progress decided to work for the holistic development of the underprivileged section of women and children in the society.Thus Ananda Samiti started in 1980. It was registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act. It is an non profit,non government secular voluntary organisation. We have 80G.
